Year 3 and 4 pupils from Primrose Hill win place in Gymnastics District Finals

On Wednesday 4th February, six year 3 and 4 pupils represented Primrose Hill C of E Academy competing in the Forest South Gymnastics Qualification event at Severnbanks School.

The pupils from Primrose Hill performed floor routines and vaults in front of an expectant audience, comprising judges, competitors and proud parents.  Mrs Henson, the Principal, said, “Our children were amazing, each performing with control, elegance, determination and a smile!”  Zach Mountford, Isabelle Kiely, Jake Norris, Bethany Hathaway, Chy Marx and Jasmine Fellows were not daunted by the prospect on performing in front of a panel of judges which included two Commonwealth medalists and a Welsh Gymnastics coach.

Finishing in third place, Primrose Hill C of E Primary Academy will now go through to the District Finals which are to be held at Dene Magna on Monday 2nd March.
